AASAS, Inc. is an airship development and manufacturing startup.
In redesigning this site I worked to harmonize the varied inputs from
the company principals into an integrated, professional site by:
|
- editing the content to improve clarity, consistency, positive focus, and accuracy.
- creating navigational and title graphics, and modifying the other graphics.
- laying out the site to draw attention to key elements.
- customizing the feedback form cgi.
- storing key page elements in special files to simplify site updates.

StarLore
is a special-interest informational site,
discussing the relationship between stars and myths and prehistory.
Besides the layout and coding, all of the text and graphics
are my original work except where specifically noted otherwise.

It provides an introduction to a vast subject area, with references
to books and websites for further learning. Planned additions to the
site include subject quizzes, activity suggestions, and possibly
community forums.

Other contributions to the
Silicon Valley Webgrrls,
site besides the Un/Subscribe cgi, include:
- making the site more accessible to non-frames browsers by
adding descriptive links to usable menus on each frameset page.
- making the gallery listing by names usable for text-only browsers
by adding alt text to each image.
- provided an annotated list of small business links which was
used as the basis of the business resource section.
- qa reviewed and fixed several link and format problems the night
before new site release.
My next contribution is slated to be a cgi tool for creating and
running polls on the site.
